Accommodation in Chepstow and the surrounding area

Below are just a few suggestions for accommodation in the area.
Please mention The Summer's End Festival when making your booking: we want Chepstow to love us!

Chepstow Town Council's own list of accommodation in the town HERE

Low-cost accommodation at the National Diving & Activity Centre (NDAC), just 2.5 miles from the venue. Sleeping up to five adults, the NAC Wigwams are the ultimate eco cabin; double-glazed, secure, cosy and warm whatever the time of year. A low cost alternative to hotels and B&Bs, these offer all year round camping and - the best bit - no pitching a tent in the rain! Check them out at www.ndac.co.uk

A little further afield, back in the direction of Lydney and the Forest of Dean ...

Platts House is a beautifully rennovated cottage offering self-catering accommodation about five miles from the venue. It has a double bedroom and a sofa-bed in the living room. Details can be found at www.plattshouse.co.uk or by calling 01594 529288.

Whitemead Forest Park is a superb holiday village offering self-catering accommodation and pitches for tents and caravans about 13 miles from Chepstow. The cabins and apartments are very reasonably priced (especially if you share) and include the use of the pool, sauna and other leisure facilities. Book on-line at www.whitemead.co.uk or please call 0845 345 3425 for further information.

Millingbrook Lodge in the village of Aylburton is just seven miles from Chepstow and offers excellent B&B accommodation. They can be found at www.millingbrooklodge.com or by calling 01594 842163.

The Fountain Inn in Parkend has a few lovely rooms to let on a B&B basis. There is also a lodge which offers very inexpensive accommodation in full-size bunk beds, provided in dormitories for 2, 3, 4, 9 and 12 people. Mattresses and pillows are provided, but sleeping bags and towels should be brought with you. Alternatively, a 'bed kit' can be rented for a small fee. They can be found at www.fountaininnandlodge.co.uk or by calling 01594 562 189.

If you are of a mind to further support Summer's End and Winter's End, donations to help us organise, promote and pay for the festival are always very much appreciated. Please note, though, that we are not a charity: your donation is simply added to the festival's income to help us continue booking bands, hiring/buying equipment etc.

We would like to offer sincere thanks to army of people who help to make the festivals happen: you know who you are :)
Special thanks to Simon, Fenn and the team at Headstock for providing Laney amplification,
Lydney Music School and the team at Chepstow Drill Hall.
An extra special shout-out to Carol at Hannah's Music, Chepstow, for all her support over the years. Check out Castle Roc Festival, Chepstow, promoted by Hannah's Music HERE.
